what is the best tool to use for cutting out the florecent part for red clear tails

I'm in the process of clearing out my tails right now and I have the orange out now and have started cutting but I already know its going to be a pain in the @ss so before I crack to much of the light cover then I figure I would ask what is best to use for cutting it perfect.

USE a dremel to cut it, very fast and smooth cut

I don't have a dremel so I used a jigsaw and heated up the plastic with a heat gun occasionally to keep it somewhat soft so it wouldn't crack. Works pretty good. Depends on what tools you have available I guess. Good Luck

Just use the utility knife with a ruler and then use sand paper.
