Finally got my tails cleared....but have 1 ??

Finally got my tails cleared.....mannn.....talk about a pain in the ***.....i spent all day doin them...but i had one question, I got everything done and i was tryin to put them back on my car and the lights won't sit back in like it was....theres a little gap between the light and the body of the car, has anyone encountered this problem??....if yes, how did you put them back in??....thanks for the info...

you have to heat them back up and get the light in the groove in the side of the black housing

i did heat it back up and put it back the way it was....it looks like its sittin in right but when i put the lights back on the car, theres a little gap, thanks for helpin though

i have had the same problem, i did the mod to two of my buddie's cars and when i put the light back in there would be a tiny gap, i guess you can always reheat them and try and get them to seal tighter.

Heat them up again, use the oven set at 225. If you have a gap, the clear outside lense isn't sitting in the black housing correctly. When it's assembled correctly, there should be no gap at all.

Light need to be lined up properly.

The assembly needs to be lined up with the car properly. It will require some force to push it back in.

Keep in mind that if there is a gap, it may allow some H2O to get in there.

I tried everything to get rid of the gap but i couldn't, i'm just gonna get some rubber hosing or something and stick it in the gap, it shouldn't be noticable but i'll try it and see wat happens, thanks for helpin though
