Catback or B-Pipe??

I have a 1997 maxima GLE and i wanted to get either a catback or a b-pipe. I want to also add a Stillen y-pipe. Which would be the best for me with hp and sound, a catback or a b-pipe, and which brands? I don't want something too loud, but i don't want a go-kart sounding one either. Please help!!! Thanks!

Y-pipe is definitely first but I can see you got that straight. And a cat-back is a one-piece muffler & B-pipe. Cat-back will give you about the same power as the B-pipe though, a muffler won't add any power. Sound is where the muffler comes in, and depending on which brand you're talking about (Apexi, Greddy, HKS) some sound great and other like a go-kart.
