No. Lots of guys here have 18" rims. If offset is between 35mm to 40mm you're ok.

you need 5x114.5 aka 5x4.5 lug pattern. for the closest to flush (front) .. you want +38 to +42 offset.

make sure you dont forget to get the hubcentric rings for the maxima. i think that covers everything but im super tired so i might be outta it.

They go on the hub of the car, just over the center cap where the axel nut is. That allows the aftermarket wheel to rest on the hub nice and snug. Also makes sure your wheel gets centered correctly on the hub.

The Nissan wheels fit snugly on the hub, aftermarkets don't fit snug, there usually made larger to fit an assortment of vehicles. The rings are spicific for each wheel and car type to assure the proper fit. They should come with the purchase of new wheels. You dont need them to mount the wheels, but they do help.

Oh ok, so when I get the wheel it comes with it anyhow. Thats cool since I thought it might have been something extra I had to buy.

Anyone know a site that sells Enkei wheels? I cant find the RPO2's and I wanna see if they will fit on a Maxima.

njmax hit it on the money, i was just pointing it out just in case you were buying used.. off another ytpe of car.

note, supposedly all aftermarket wheels are drilled to the same size (73mm-ish) .. and all you need is hubcentric rings for your car, should work on any aftermarket wheel.

+42mm? I've read that you can't go beyond +40mm. What happens if it is at +42 or +43mm? What are the maximums?

Most Konig are 42mm. They will fit. 2MM is tiny.

Nah. +42 is fine, if you wanna see +42 vs +38 i have pics at
http://intolerable.net/ogredave/Maxima/

the axis are +42, and you can see they sit a lil in. +38 is pretty much flush in front, a lil in in rear.. not much u can do about the rear.
