My SES light came on today. I checked my ECU and it came back with 05 10. I looked up the code on the VBXMaxima site and it was undefined. I did this 3 different times and verified that it was definitely 05 10. Anyone else ever see this code? I have a 99 GLE auto if that helps. The light came on at 41,666 miles while I was doing around 60MPH. Thanks in advance.

are you sure 5 slow 10 fast? I'm not implying that you don't know what your are doing. I would say that you have a bad loop or connection. I was told that when you get unidentified codes thats what it means.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, that's what I saw. And don't worry about implying anything - i really DON'T know what I'm doing. This is my first Maxima and needless to say it's just a little different than my Trans Am, lol. I cleared the SES so if there is a problem it will come on again. I may just end up making an appointment with the service department. How would I check for the loop or bad connection?
