I have a stock 95 Max and my friend just got a sweet 2002 Acura Rsx Type-S 6 speed. Mine is automatic who do u think would win in a street race cause were lookin foward to racing????

 

He will smoke you. If you had a stick, you would take him.

 

Or atleast a y-pipe and cai/pop-charger you can keep up with him. Or go the cheap route, Nitrous....

 

ONE OF MY FRIENDS HAS A 96 STOCK AUTO SE AND ANOTHER FRIEND HAS A 02 RSX TYPE S STICK. AND THE MAX TOOK HIM TWICE! DON'T UNDER ESTIMATE THE MAX'S POWER!!

 

My fellow Maxima brother, with those results I would put my grandmother in the rsx and let her drive. She'll be able to beat a Maxima in your friend's RSX.

 

maxima will get a better start, but RSX will probably catch up

good luck but i cant beat my homie with rsx type s they are fast i have a 95 maxima auto cai,exhaust,pulley, and stillen y pipe they are fast but if u know how to lounch them.

 

well my friend has a brand new 2002 type s also. all i got is a 96 5 speed with ram air intake. now we have been waiting for a long time to race. then i raced is ***. he got me off the line i wont deny it as soon as i hit 3 bye bye. i will tell u this they are quick but dont let their weed wacker sound detour you. but since u have an auto he will beat u deff. dont waste uer time or ur drive shaft.

so whast the word, me and my friend with the rsx type s talk smack all the time but havent had a chance to race, is my 95 5 speed with intake y pipe and catback gonna beat his rsx with intake and exhaust(which after drivin made me think he lost some power), plus he's annoying so id love to smoke him and shut him up(he's one of those kids, heres an example, woah sam, is that that new throttle by wire thing?(referring to my throttle cable , and yea sam im gonna be changin my headers right here, um dude, thats ur intake manifold, the rsx engine is backwards, and yes some dont know that, but seeing that ur intake flows directly into ur "headers" i was hopin ud pick up on it. sigh..... i hate those kids that get bought nice cars by their parents and think now they know something about cars.

 

i just played cat and mouse with a friends rsx tonight... i got onto the highway and knew he was behind me... i jumped into the fast lane and waited till he was behind me. I gunned it from 3rd and he managed to stay around the same distance behind me the whole time. But i could tell i was walking away from him slowly..
