Interior cabin heat problem
I have a 1997 Maxima. A couple of days ago, I noticed extra heat coming into the car, even with the heater off. It seems to happen when I'm on the highway after driving a few miles. Any help and suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks.

Yeah, check your recirculation switch/button. On the AUTO climate control unit push the button to the right of the front defroster switch. This will prevent fresh air from comming into the car at highway speeds. If you still want fresh air, just set the temp control to a desired setting. Also, you will have to push this button every time you start the car. IN other words the switch doesn't lock into posistion. IF you have a manual climate control I would assume their is a lever, or switch that will do the same function. With this type though, you won't have to constantly set the lever everytime you start the car - it locks into posistion.
