just dropped of the max to have flex section..

replaced $129.00. has anybody had there's replaced instead of sending it to warpspeed? while my car was on the lift i ran my fingers around the part where it was leaking. the top part where i cant see was really bad. the strands were coming undone and the whole front section was warped. to the peeps with aftermarket motor mounts/new mounts how is your y-pipe holding up

I bought the lined flex section for warpspeed, and had a friend weld it on for me. It cost about $50 for the parts, and labor was free.

But the flex section I got had it's own problems and I ended up selling that Y-pipe.

What were the problems you had with the replacement flex?

For somereason it created extra vibration after it was on. It seemed that it flexed too much. In my case the flex section actually expanded and contracted on itself, almost like someone was squeezing it and releasing it. But I've never heard of anyone else having this problem, so it must have been an isolated case.
