bose audio

I'm trying to remove my bose audio radio from my 96 max SE.
It just stopped working yesterday for no apparent reason.
It's as if the power to the radio has been cut, but the fuses
are OK. How do I remove this stereo without tearing-up the
dash? There's no obvious way to remove it (for good reasons I'm sure) What's the procedure? Help
