Blinkers

Does anyone know to make blinkers blink fast? Without buying the little box, that makes them blink fast?

thanks

Re: Blinkers

I don't know if it is true, but I heard somewhere that installing low-wattage LED bulbs will make the flasher unit think you have a bulb burned out and they will blink fast. IMHO, fast blinkers are lame, but don't let that stop you.

I did install LED 1156 in the back blinkers, they blinked fast but they were not bright enough so I got a fix it ticket and had to take them off.

Speaking of which, does anyone have any suggestions for a brighter amber bulb that is more visible behind red/clears during the daytime? Mine are NOT cutting it and I DO NOT want to get rear ended by one of the Q-tips driving their Grand Marquis's because they didn't see my blinker.

Don't let your opinion be humble, fast blinkers are lame, and extremely ricey.

Seems to me from that website, that you can rewire blinkers to blink fast. But does anybody know how?

this may sound kinda weird.. but when its really cold outside, my stock blinkers turn into hyperblinkers on their own.. i mean, when i turn on the signal, the dash turn indicator blinks really really fast, and so do the blinkers themselves.. only when its cold though. when the car warms up, its back to normal. i'm not kidding, anybody else notice this on their car?
