Ok i read the post and got some vauge directions and did it tonight. I only did the back lights because it got dark outside so ill do the fronts tomorrow... The back is VERY easy to do. Here are some good directions with colors...

1) Take off trunk trim including latch trim (2' long black piece near latch just pops out) Then take off all the little connectors on the carpet near the light assembly and fold carpet out of way.

2) Locate the blinker bulb. Its the top bulb near the outter edge of car. There will be a green wire and black wire going to it.

3) Locate the set of wires going down to side marker. It is small and going into a hole in the bottom side of trunk. Cut the tape on it to reveal a black and red wire. CUT the black wire and strip it on the end that goes into the side marker.

4) Take a spare wire and stick into the little hole that the green wire goes into on the blinker and secure it with tape. Run the other end of the wire to the CUT wire from the marker and attatch and secure with electical tape. Then re wrap the whole assembly with tape.

It is really easy to do and take like 5-10 min a light. You will notice when your lights are on the blinkers will alternate (When blinker is on marker is off and when blinker is off marker is on.)
During the day with no lights on they will blink at the same time.
Ill let you all know how the front lights go tomorrow. IT looks a little more difficult because its so cramped up front but the procedures should be very similar.

Ok that whole paragraph i did not get!
I just want it so when the lights are ON, and i switch the left/right turn signal on, that the side markers blink with it. I still want the side mrakers on all the time like they were stock, but now i just want to them blink with signal. Did you make this happ? can't understand.

During the day, when lights are OFF, it would be nice to have the side markers blink with turn signal, but would be no big deal for me to make it so.

I did this on my TBird... maybe this will help you under stand....
ON the TBird... when the parking lights are on there are four.... (1)headlight(2)GRILLE(3)headlight(4)
when u turned a turn signal on... 1 or 4 blinked... when u hooked up the wires like he did on the max....
(1) would alternate with (2) but only when parking or headlights are on... same iwth the rear... here:

Yes i reccomend using connectors too. I did use them by the way and then wrapped them all in elec tape and put it all back together. Ok during the day the side markers will stay off all the time untill you use your blinkers. They will blink on at the same exact time your blinker blinks.
But at night with your lights on the markers stay on just like stock. But when your blinker turns on your marker turns off and blinks back on. Its pretty cool.

roger.

225 installed sounds not bad. but it's definately not the viper 800esp unless he stole it. or possibly it's most basic install. no modules. the more modules u got the more ti'll cost. normal is around a grand for the whole alarm, brain, window, remote start. i payed around 5bills. i got the brain through my brother. an di don't knwo where he gets it from. my friend at the shop told me it's less than employee discount. the install was cheap cuz A. they were my friends B. i helped. when i wasn't needed for the alarm i installed in customers cars. well i'm gonna build a web sight sooner or later, get a digicam and do alotta detailed instructions for the max. it's pretty much gonna be a dedicated site for home made stuff.

Third brakelight

Has anyone modified the third brakelight to blink when the brakes are engaged? I've seen it on a few cars. Interesting. Although, I'm not too sure how safe/legal it is.

Third Light

What do you mean by make the Third brake light blink? the only thing I've seen cool with the brake light is people buying the knight rider brake light and making them clear with lighting sheet.

Reverse Light blinker

hey guys. what Im trying to do is make the reverse light blink as well as the regular blinker without making it alternate. I changed the blinker and reverse bulbs to super white. it blinks with the blinker and when I go into reverse the reverse lights go on only. The problem is that when I activate one of the turn signals both sides blink instead of one. Sence I connected it to my reverse lights they use both. What can I do to stop it? Or what should have been done?
