i just spoke with Stillen and the guy said the there is a difference between the 95 and the 97 muffler...he said that Nissan changed the rear bumper and that's the reason for the difference...

what is the difference in rear bumpers???

can an exhaust shop fix it???

how much would that cost???

thanx,
adrian

No, they are not all compatable.

* The 95 cat has a hole in it for an O2 sensor (if there even is one on a 95, I know that's where a 96's is.)
* The 97 wants the O2 sensor to be in the b-pipe, which there will be no hole for.

In 97 Nissan extended the bumper, meaning that the exhaust tip from a 95 exhaust will looked "tucked" on a 97. The hangers are the same and the muffler will work just fine.

i checked the Stillen catalogue...for the B-pipe they only have one for 95-99...so i assume that they only make one for the WHOLE 4th gen...

what are the locations of O2 sensors...is the only diff between the 95 and the 97 is the cat...or also the y-pipe and b-pipe???

thanx

Y pipes are the same. No problem.

Stillen ships their y-pipe with the hole for the 97+ O2 sensor. If you don't have that sensor they provide you with a bolt that will close the hole. Really a nice system.

Sounds like your only problem will be that the cat from the 95 will have a hole in it. Maybe you can get that plugged.
