For anyone who has made their own grille!

alright, well i was at home depot today looking to make a grille. I didn't get one though cause i don't know which one to get. does anybody know the name of the grille that everyone is using?

Just something generic sounding like gutter gaurd. It comes in sections about three feet long by about 6 inches wide.

You might want to consider some other alternatives. I examined this stuff up close and it looks inexpensive. Maybe painting it chrome or silver would help, but it also seems vulnerable to dings. Correcting "dimples" in these gratings won't be easy without taking off the bumper cover. And then, can you ever restore that smooth original look, I wonder...

One guy posted pics of his custom grille using patterned sheet metal. Looked AWESOME. He hasn't posted where he got it yet.

Ever see those GMC Yukon's with the chrome grilles? THAT is the stuff I'd like to get. Probably can't get easily get it, except at the GMC dealer. But who wants to dump out $500-$1000 for a GMC front grille you'll have to cut anyway.

this is my valence custom mesh i made....
I primed & sprayed it white...but u can't see too good because shadow is over it.

just go to Home Depot and look in the roofing material isle for a pack of gutter gaurd mesh. $5.95 for a pack of 5 sheets.
