Trunk wont open...

when I use the remote or push the button from the inside. I have to use the key to open the trunk. It stopped working out of the blue a month ago. It makes a pop noise when u push the button but the trunk wont open.

I had the same exact problem, you have to adjust the part of the trunk that pops, the part on the bottom, not on the trunk....basically there are two bolts on it, i think its 10mm, you have to move it either left or right, you need to test it.

Frist loosen both bolts then move it left, this worked for me.... then tighten it, and go test. if this doesnt work try it the other way, while doing this you should get that trunk to pop with the button or the remote. If you need me to clarify jut ask, i explain things very stupidly

It might be this.

There is a little switch next to the latch in the trunk. This switch keeps the trunk from opening from any electronic ways. Push the switch the other way, and try that.

i had the same exact problem since i bought the car..

it was not the little safety thing in the trunk to keep it from opening by anything other then a key or remote...

It turned out to be the switch inside the door panel, i had to take it off... something was out of place there.. works great now, my car is finally in absolutely perfect shape
