what do you think of custommaximas 1/4 panels

I had one of my 1/4 panels messed up and was thinking about going with his 1/4 phase II.
Do you think it would look good on a 96 blue max are should I stay stock?

I think they look great. When I go in for body work next year, I'm going to put those on too.

I just put the phase 2 on over the winter and they look great...some people think they look ricey but i think they fit the car well...they do take patience to put on though and the only problem i had was that the fender linings cant clip onto the fiberglass so i had to drill holes to screw the into...but other than that good product and i cant wait to get it painted

And aren't they also made of fiberglass? Less sturdy.

panels

I think they look good if you have some other exterior work done, i don't think they look that good on a max if it just stock with those fenders.

I personally like them, if my quarter panels were damaged, i would definitely get them, are you getting them through insurance or just out of your own pocket?

yeah i have the full sorana body kit too and although they did not match up perfectly (but what does right??) they are still very sturdy and very light, i had no cracking with the body kit and i have hit many potholes and slammed it on the ground...good product i say

even though im not a fan of the sarona kit quality i will say that mine hasn't cracked either. I've had the rear and sides on for about 3 months now and have hit some pretty good bumps and nothing. But its still not worth it unless they plan on making the kit fit better.

I agree with 97MaximaSE-L...

They look good on a car with other bodywork. However if you car will only have these they will look most certainly out of place and tacky.

Re: hmmmm????

All fiberglass fenders are less sturdy than the factory ones. They won't dent, but the will crack or break easily. It's just that on fenders, it really doesn't matter since you're never going to hit anything with them. My Sarona back bumper cracked twice already. My Sarona front bumper has 2 chips/holes on the bottom already. Ange cracked a sideskirt on her Sarona within a few weeks.

Put a factory fender and a fiberglass fender side by side. there is no way you can say that the fiberglass fender is stronger.

And Sarona isn't cheap, but they're not good quality either. No, I'm not bashing Greg, he's a good friend of mine. But Sarona's products, customer service, and employees suck hard.
