Need help matching corner lights...

I have hyper white headlights , and I want to match the corner lights. My headloghts are very bright with a good amount of blue. Do I need to re-wire the corner lights to get them to match, or is there a bulb that will match at normal wattage. Also, I read a couple of things about shaving one nub off of an 1157 bulb, is this safe, or does it work, what about putting an 1156 in there ?? Any help would be appreciated greatly !!

Yes you can shave a nub off of an 1157. You shave the one closest to the top near the glass. You then put the bulb back in backwards. I have had mine like that for a few months now.

I have PIAAs 1157 in my corners too. they give a much whiter slightly bluish light that will probably match your headlights better than regular bulbs. I love my corners, they are so bright and really help me see a lot better.
