Installing a Black Light, or like, under drivers seat
How would you go about doing this? I want to install a neon or black light under the drivers seat, and have it power probably by the switch on the light, or when i turn on the lights (which ever is easier). Now my fuse box, i think, is on the lower left hand side, so can i just run some wire from the light to the fuse box?
Well, I think that neons/blacklights use alot of power but you may be able to tap into the cigarette lighter wire for them. Just pull up the dash trim around the shifter and try tapping into that wire. If the fuse goes you'll have to wire it to the battery. Oh, you should also probably throw a relay in there otherwise the lights will be on when you turn on the car (unless that's what you want).

dont bother tapping into the cigarette lighter wire. Just run a new line into the car from the battery. Use a 12-14 gauge wire this way you can always add onto that one line running into the car. I have 4 blue neons running off of the one line with and independant switch. They can be on when the car is off. make sure to use a good ground for them. I found that the piece of steel below the stearing clomn works the best. Also use an inline fuse with a 10amp fuse just to protect the neons from any power bursts if any from the battery. Hope this helps, E-mail me if you need anymore help.

Ok, so how do i wire this stuff up. Where do i put the fuse and the switch? On the wire somwhere? And then i run the wire from the battery under the hood of my car to the lights? Ok, i should have a hole there anyway from my stero system. How shouldi mount the lights? And how could i put one under each seat? In terms of wiring.
ok,
run that wire through the fire wall. Now run the wire up to the fuse panel of the car. At the end of that add on the Inline fuse. Then after the fuse add a switch inline to that line. finally after the sitch add together all the power leads from all the neons. Make sure to ground them to a good point, try and connect all the grounds to one point if possible. I mounted up my neons up against the firewall, kinda where your toes are when sitting in the car. I used Wire ties and screws, they help fine. For the rear neons i just used velcro and put them on the floor below the front seats. For the rear neons i ran the power wire down the center console underneath by the carpet. Totally hidden, the fronts are self explanitory. The switch i installed next to the fuse panel cover, just to the left.
They look awsome at night, good luck with the install, shouldnt take more than an hour tops.

its a neon lamp. you probably seen them at clubs/bars/coffee shops. they make all your white clothes turn bluish/purplish. The bulb itself dark is black.
