Those with Weapon R intake
This has been driving me nuts for a long time now.
My Weapon R intake does not have a place for the intake air temperature sensor to go. I always just put it into the filter and tightened it all up. Well. I cleaned my filter yesterday and now my engine check light is on. I pulled the code and it says it's the intake air temp sensor. I reset the cpu and the check light came right back. The only thing I can think is that maybe I tightened the filter a bit too much since part of the wire to the sensor is flat and almost crimped. I don't think the wire has become disconnected though. So, my questions are: Where does everyone put there intake temp sensor? Do you think my sensor needs replacing now. Thanx.

hey,
i don't have one of those but someone was telling me about one that also didn't have a place to put the temp. sensor. he told me all he did was use a twist tie and put it directly next to the filter. i dunno if that helps but i figured i'd let you know.
