I Need Help Finding My Maxima!!!

I am searching for a 4th Gen Maxima and there are still some things that I am somewhat unknowlegable about. Are there any exterior markings that differentiate GXE, SE, and GLE? How do I know for sure if it is a SE (besides white faced gages)? Is it true that the top speed of GXE is 112mph and SE and GLE is 149mph and why? What other differences between SE and other trims?
Finally, I have a list of proposed mods to my future max and I am looking for suggestions/comments (Keeping in mind that I am not looking for an insanly fast car, but one that handles well and performs strongly--that is--can take my harsh style of driving. Thanks.

Re: I Need Help Finding My Maxima!!!

SE's usually come with a spoiler
GLE's usually come with fog lights and no spoiler
GXE's coming with next to nothing

SE comes with a spoiler, fog lights, body colored door handles (not chrome), white faced guages, and a body colored grill (not chrome, 97-99)

GLE can have fog lights but it has chrome door handles and a chrome grill (if its 97-99....all 95s and 96s have the same grill i think)

GXE doesnt have fog lights and has the same chrome features as the GLE

a GXE only has a limiter if it DOESNT have the security and conveinence package or whatever it's called. and if it does have a limiter, i think its limited in the higher 110s. closer to 120 than to 110.

as far as mods go, the y-pipe is known as the best "bang for the buck" for performance gains. as everyone says. people says the RSB, FSTB, and RSB make noticible differences in how the car rides and handles.

There's a pretty extensive list in the "4th gen FAQs" thread up top about the differences in trim levels.

And Newman, I feel honored that somebody has me quoted in their sig!
