i got sum free time yesterday since i got spring break, and it was great weather so i decided to clean my throttle body...and i did, and believe i cleaned it rather well since i spent like atleast half an hour with the rag and toothbrush in there, and each time, kept gettin gunk out...i used the penzoil gumout air intake and throttle body cleaner...works great...but i didnt notice the INCREDIBLE results u people claim about...mightve noticed a bit, but not that much...i didnt run he engine at all while i was cleaning cuz i did a search and people warned against doing that even though the bottle says u should...then i started it after i put everything back together, had a lil crank, then shot up, and ran like everytime b4...no crap came outta my exhaust..should i do it again and try cranking the engine while im doing it? how can i take the entire throttle body off the car(if thats possible for a beginner with cars)?? how can i get a better clean??
by da way, i also rewired my corner lights...simple procedure...GREAT LOOK!! match my nokya arctics nice now..thanx cheston

Same thing with me. I didn't noticed any difference after cleaning the throttle body. Maybe that have to do with my faulty knock sensor at the time which I changed out recently. Who knows.
