My Clearance lights on my 1997 Maxima Wont turn on anymore. i looked at all my fuses and checked the ones to do with lighting and that didnt help . i called nissan and they said they would look at it (for a large sum of $$) I was wondering if any of u guys knew how to fix this problem.

Both of them? Have you done any mods to them? That's odd.

 

Ya Both of them went out its wierd..the only mod ive done to them is put hyper white bulbs thats it.

 

I would suggest you pull them out and check the wireing (use a phillips to unscrew it off the headlamp and flat head betwwen the park lamp and headlamp to gently pri it out)
and check the bulbs while you at it.
If the park lites on the side of the bumper is working I don't think its the fuse.

 

To clear up any confusion:
1) Both of them went out at the same time, or did you only notice now that both of them are out?
2) You mean clearance (sidemarkers) on the bumper, not parking/cornering (next to the headlamp) correct?
3) Are you running overwattage?

 

ya sorry both of the cornering lights went out at the same timei watched them go out while sitting in my car.
