Want to give your max a boost w/o spending?

To all 4th generation maxima owners. I don't know what the long term effects on this is but i took a risk and did it anyways. Under the hood on the driver side(below where you hook up your ftsb too) you'll find a module component(i think it's a time delay module) unlink the relay and you'll notice a quicker drop in your rpm and a boost everytime your gear shifts. I took another step to make an on/off relay switch inside the compartment so i can just turn it on before a race or etc.
Try it and give me a feedback.

-STILLEN Y-PIPE
-RANDOM TECH. CAT. CONVERTER
-CAT-BACK EXHAUST

-TIME DELAY MODULE SWITCH
-DIAMOND CUT CORNER AND BLACK CHROME ALTEZZA
-SOON TO INSTALL ZEX(RUNNING ABOUT 100 SHOT) PURGE KIT, REMOTE BOTTLE OPENER AND MODIFIED SARONA BODY KIT
-AND HOPEFULLY MORE......

This has been done before. Its a resistor that regulates vein pressure in your tranny. Kinda like a low budget Valve body recalibration. You better add a cooler to it. This mod will definitely kill your auto fast.

I've had that setup for over a year and a half now. I know it feels fast, but it does not improve your acceleration times at all. I have not been able to show that it improved my 1/4 mile times one bit.

Actually it's a .40 S&W. It's a good compromise between the capacity of a 9mm and the stopping power of a .45.

Mine has a stainless slide though, like this one (which is a .45):

It's not an S&W. It's an HK. The caliber is ".40 S&W"

There is only one true way to 'give your car boost without spending' and that's to shave weight. Everything else costs.

Advanced timeing costs nothing and provides noticible gains

How can you do this on a 4th gen without an ECU mod? You must know something that no one else does.

Yeah, you're right, advanced timing does provide noticable gains. That's why I spent $425 for an ECU program that advanced my timing. However, $425 = nothing?

P.s. Even if you were right, did that really deserve a mad face?

I have the right to own a gun and to protect myself with it. Do the people that pose a threat to me have this right? Maybe not (if they've ever been convicted of a felony or proven mentally defective, then the answer is no, they do not have that right)...

Does any law prevent a law-breaker from carrying a gun and using it against me? No. Should any law leave me weapon-less against such a threat? No.

Exactly.

Outlawing guns will only take them out of the hands of decent law-abiding citizens like myself. Leaving me helpless against people who are breaking the law anyway and will have a gun.

NO thanks!

And no, I don't plan on killing someone. I use my gun for recreation. Shooting is fun. But, if someone was threatening my life, and it was me or him...it sure as HELL wouldnt be me going down.

So is the first ammendment... oh, I forgot it just got abolished by the "Campaign Finance Reform" bill.

Carrying a firearm is like carrying a fire extinguisher; you hope you never need it, but if you do need it, there is no substitute.

To get the thread back on topic, I suspect that racing twice with the resistor unplugged contributed to my tranny failure.

My bad. I forgot I wasn't on the third gen section. Those cars don't require the ECU program. The talk of guns gets me worked up, hence the
