head lights problems

i read some articles regarding the upgrade of the headlight harness. I did that since I keep getting my bulbs burn using the xenons.

Here's my problem now, after the the harness upgrade.

My right High beam is so dim, it work but very very dim. The low beam is OK

My right low beam any new bulb i put will burn the filament. The high beam is Ok,

Both have upgrade hardness. Do i have to upgrade the ground wires or rerun it? I think i over burn the wire using the xenon bulbs in the with the factor harness when i first got the car.

What should i do ? can anyone help me out?

Thanks.

Check your grounds. Make sure the connections are CLEAN! You have to be on fresh metal, not paint.

I did not creat any new grounding. There were three wires and I just connect the new harness into the 3 original wires. Are you saying I should create a new grounding ?

What kind of harness did you get? The harness that most people have including, you just connect one of the headlight sockets into the harness and connect the new ground to the chassis for each side. Connect the ground to the fender screw. That is a good ground.

I got some harness on ebay. It has three wires just like the original harness. I just connect them all in and it started to mess up.
