I recently rewired my corner lights (did my fogs a while ago) and yesterday all my lights except for my headlights went out. My brake lights and turn signals still work, but none of my city lights will turn on. At first, I thought my connection came loose, but when I checked, everything was fine. So I thought, "I must have blown a fuse." But I checked all my fuses and they are all fine. So right now, I'm thinking, "What the hell is wrong with my lights??" I have no tails, corners, side-markers, or fogs. ...and no, all my bulbs did not go out. I checked them all by connecting the wire to the battery. Can anybody tell me what's going on? Any help? PLEEEEEASE...

 

This does sound like a blown fuse, so perhaps you overlooked one. On a 4Gen Maxima there are two places to check fuses. One is the fuse block in the passenger compartment, behind a pull-out panel in the lower dashboard, left of the steering column. Another is the fuse and fusible link box in the engine compartment, adjacent to the battery.

 

that happened to me when i was doing my lights too. i think the fuse was in the box next to the battery.

 

I had this problem too, the corner lights are on the same relay as the Taillights, that's the fuse that blew, i believe it's a 5 amp fuse... change that to a 7.5 and you'll be all set.

 

Don't do this. The fuse is a protective device. If you change to a higher ampere fuse you are defeating the purpose. This could lead to bigger problems than a blown fuse.

 

Happend to me too, except my fuse panel cover was not marked correctly!?!?! I put in the 7.5 amp about 3months ago and have not had any problems. Nissan didnt design the corners to be on the high filiment all the time either, but it works.

 

I've had the 7.5 amp fuse for 5 months, no problems with it at all.
