kosei k1 racing offset

hi everyone,

I am going to order Kosei K1 Racing 17 X 7.5 in anthracite.
The rim comes in two offsets, 35mm and 45mm.

35mm will give me a more aggressive look (bringing the tires
out more to the body), but will it rub?

For suspension I have H+R/KYB combo, so I am lowered as well.

The tires will be 235/45/17.

So I want to know if 35mm offset kosei k1 will rub with H+rs or
do I have to go with 45mm offset. Also, does anyone have pics of
this anthracite combo on their max?

Thanks!

I picked up a set of those wheels last week when I was in Atlanta and those wheels are light , they were so light I gave them to my wife to see if she likes them, you want them to be somewhat flush and not rub how about 40mm offset, that is what I have and also why not go with 17x8, dont you think 17x7.5 will look lame?

The Tire Rack only has these rims in 35mm and 45mm. The only
available 17 inch size is 17 * 7.5. This is for Kosei K1s.

Why would 7.5 look any different than 8", as if the extra 1/4 inch width on each side would make a noticeable difference.

Also Vin, what color is your car I hope its not black or that will make 3 black maximas with anthracite K1s hehe.

BTW, I don't know definitively whether or not they would rub with H@R, I do know that my old 43 offset 17" wheels with 235-45s came CLOSE to the fender, but this was with ground control coilovers, a full inch lower than your H&Rs at least. 35 is the lowest offset I've ever heard of anyone putting on a Maxima, I'd be wary. Have you spoken to TireRack about it?

nealoc...Sorry, my car is super black ...so now there will be three? Well if you guys aren't in NC it should be ok...

I am thinking about ordering one 35mm and one 45mm and testing the fit (with a rim mounted). This way I can send one back and it will
only cost me the shipping and the tire dismount fee (18+12) and
order the other three.

If anyone has any pics or has tried the fitment please still post
(you can save me 30 bucks!)...thanks for the input so far...

Sweet. I'll probably go with 35mm offset too if yours work out ok, wider is better. My car is a bit lower than yours, but if yours have good clearance then I'll probably be ok. Let us know in a new post when you get them and post some pics, I've yet to see them in anthracite on a Max, only on Tireracks website with their little wheel chooser program.

I'll be #4 by mid summer. I wanted the OZ F1 Cup's in Gunmetal, but I don't like the price. Plus I'd rather get 17's than 18's.

I've got 16" K1s with a 35mm offset. No problems what so ever. The rear wheels are perfectly flush with the fenders. The fronts stick out about 1/8", maybe, but I think that more a factor ofthe bumper guard on the tires.
