driver side power window problems

95 GXE
my driver side window does not go down all the way (about "child proof" level).
and seems to drain power when i use the auto rolldown button (whatever the technical word is, i tap the button and it finishes the job). the window stops at about "child proof" level but the motor tries to keep going and the window does not...draining power...causing my interior lights to faintly dim.

and rolling it up...i press (pull) the button but nothing happens, i have to do this a few times before it works. i have noticed that it mostly won't go up when i accelerate.

then sometimes the damn window works normally.

any ideas?

Almost sounds to me that your regulators are going bad.

Remove the door cover and see what's up. You might just need to adjust the window, or something.
