Intakes!!!! K&N Vs. Stillen etc...
Hey guys,
I'm in the market to purchase an intake/filter or whatever you wish to call it. I saw a K&N cone air intake advertised on ebay for 70$ as well as a used Stillen one. Both of them look the same so i'm wondering which one i should buy and why!!? Both companies advertise the same horsepower gains and so on. Also i noticed the Stillen one seems to be a lot more expensive, probably because it's Stillen but anyhow i would appreciate some feedback so i'm not left making another mistake!. And is it ok to buy a used Stillen one? Thanks,
Joe

I think the Stillen intake has an adaptor that you can bolt directly up to your MAF sensor housing.
Was the K&N the same size as the Stillen? I think you can get a K&N with a 3in opening, and the Stillen popcharger has a little bigger opening.
If you get a filter with a 3in opening, you can just pull the metal bracket out of the stock air box and make the "BrianV" intake.
