Dammit, I really love the 4th gen max, its too nice inside and out, my bro was looking for a car yesturday and we checked out like 5 4th gen maxes. I like the 95/96 cars but they don't look as good as lets say a 97 or 98. Test drove this 97 GXE automatic with 70k on it, so smooth, interior is great, roomy and comfy, leather is the best sh*t. Guy wanted 11,500$ we could have talked him down to 11, maybe less but my bro cant afford that plus he wanted a more economical 4 banger, so we got a 99 Corolla But I must have a 4th gen, I want a 97+ 5 speed... its too beautiful of a car.

Holy Crap! 70k! Man Talk about Daily Driver. You shouldn't have gotten a Corolla. Click the bottom link in my Signature to see a great car the you should have bought. You said it was a 97 GXE, I never knew that GXE's came with leather.

 

oh.. they dont might have been a GLE

 

I didn't even look for a GLE badge on the trunk, why the hell did I say GXE? uh.. i guess it was a GLE then, leather, roof, i think even the Cd player were there. how else can u tell if its a GLE from looking at it?




Corolla was very cheap, 8,500$ for a 99' its economical and reliable, and it only had 40k miles.
