120,000 and needing help

is there any thing that i can do to help my maxima out. it has 120,000 miles, but it has lost a little bit of its quickness.It is getting lazy and i want that quickness back. Thanks

Change your spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, flush your tanny, clean fuel injectors, ect. Just some thoughts, if you haven't done them.

As the miles build up...
- the engine valves don't seal quite as well
- the timing chain stretches a bit and valve timing is "off"
- the Oxygen Sensors get "tired" (do not respond as quickly as new ones)
- the catalytic converter collects deposits and is less free-flowing than a new one
- etc. etc.

That's why a used Maxima with 50K is worth more than the same year Maxima with 100K.
