95 Recall?

I spoke to Covenent Nissan Service dept asking her if there was any recalls on the 95 Maximas. She told me their TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN(TSB)says there is a recall only if the CEL is on.I asked her to tell me what the TSB said but she dosen't want to tell me that and wants to charge me $55 for diagnostics.Does any one know what the recall is about??I know there is a recall for the rear O2 sensor on 96 Maximas.
Please talk to your delears too, this might help lots of guys !!

TIA,
Jay

Recall has nothing to do with the CEL.

You can diagnose the CEL yourself.

Try to avoid going to the dealer for anything. They will charge you first, and figure out how to fix your problem second.

I recieved a notice for my 95 SE about one of the oxygen sensors, can't remeber which one though. I had all ready replaced mine and didn't want to deal w/ getting a refund. The TSB was about 6 months too late for me. I'm not aware of any other TSBs. I think there is a website where you can view them for all makes of cars. Good luck

I got a notice from Nissan after my warranty ran out on my '95. But, this was well after my warranty--like about 25,000 miles. It so happened that they had a lot of problems with the 95's, so they extended the "bumper-to-bumper" warranty to 60,000 miles. I, basically, did not have any problems with my car (at that particular time) but I sure took advantage of the situation and got my O2 sensor replaced and also my IAAC valve when it tripped the CEL.
