i am planning on getting leather seat covers and installing them myself. i know you can get heated seat inserts for the seats, but where? and anyone who has installed these, how are they wired and where are the controlls located? TIA!

 

The controls are on the center console, behind the gate (shift ****)
but in front of the arm rest...I'm sure if you look at some interior pics, you could see 'em...There's a three position switch (hi - off - low) for each of the two seats.

leatherseats.com sells heated seat kits... they are like a 100$ I think, includes everything you need..

if you don't want that, you can go a cheaper route and find the harness / buttons from a junkyard off a maxima that came with heated seats... I think someone said it's like 30-40$
