As far as the plastic pulleys I have two sets of metal pulleys so I shouldnt have no problems with melting plastic pulleys. The only oil leak I had was my fault I used the wrong gasket on the oil return plate. That got fixed already. I feel very confident and would install one for about $400 if given the chance

Black cat you installed them metal pulleys yet if you have not email me I have some pics that I took for you to see if you still dont feel confident changing out them pullies
thanks for your input - that adds more ammunition to the V2's reliability. I think that when the time comes I'll probably DIY - as I have a double garage and two other cars to drive, so wouldn't depend on it for transportation. It could sit on the jack stands for weeks if need be - although I'd want to have it up and running as soon as possible, so probably would end up working on it day and night
BTW Jay, those wheels in your sig pic are the nicest I've seen on any Maxima. Are they the Superleggera (SP?) What size? and what drop do you have?

Well, my mates in England all decided to get married this next year- I just got back from one trip over there and have 3 more next year. So the SC goes on hold to pay for flights for me and my wife.

4 trips in 12 months = $6400 on airfares!! Bastards - why couldn't they all get married in the same week!?
I'm still going to try and save up for boost of some form - Harold's Turbo kit is looking very tempting, but I'm concerned that it may require a lot of tuning. Before I get any form of boost I need to get the suspension mods done - RSB, KYB AGX with H&R springs.
