jus wonderin on what all you guys use. for oil filter, im thinkin i'll jus get the oem oil filter. where's the cheapest place to get those? also, what oil do use guys use, and what do you think? im not sure whether to use regular or synthetic, and which brand, or where to buy. alrite, thanks.

 

OEM oil filter: only one place you can buy it...from the Nissan dealer. Should cost $5 or so. As for oil, all oils are good provided it says 5w30 on the bottle. Normal oil is good for 5000 miles, synthetic can be extended to 7500. Do a search on "oil change intervals" and read the "oil analysis" sticky for more info.

 

i use Amsoil Synthetic 5W-30 and Amsoil filter as well. Synthetic oil will perform the best and last the longest. switching to synthetic oil in a high mileage vehicle might cause problems. look up forum for more details. oh ya, stay away from all oil additives, for example, dura-lube,prolong,etc. dont worry too much about what brand of oil to use, just make sure you're changing the oil on time every time.
