its your car's Computer. Its located under the dash, behind the panel next to your gas pedal

It's main function is to decide how much fuel and spark to give the engine, and hen to give it...

It controls the ignition coils, the fuel injectors, the automatic transmission, and stuff like that.

It monitors dozens of sensors to make these decisions...

It makes the car work.

It reads hundreds of sensors and tells your injectors when to spray, spark plugs when to fire, how much air and fuel to mix together, etc., etc., etc..
