KILL switches... anyone have one? Where?

I'm putting a kill switch in my 1998 SE 5spd...

I'm thinking fuel pump if I can figure out where to splice in...

Anyone else have one and if so, what circuit and where's a good spot for the switch?

Thanks

Fuel pump works well. Easiest is to remove the fuse, crimp on a couple spades to an inline fuse holder, and put the spades in the fuse receptacle. Just run your switch inline.

As for the switch location... I don't know.

I would assume the wires for the fuel pump pass through the inside of the car enroute to the trunk where they'd drop through to the outside again... But without a factory manual....

Anyone got REALLY good diagrams, wire colors, etc/

Thanks

I have not tried it, but I would have to second this idea. For example, if the car is running and you pull the fuel pump fuse in the car, it will stall and die. If you somehow wired up the fuse to a switch so that you could break the fuse contact with the switch, that would be ideal. Let me know how it goes, I might want to try it too.
