Egr Screw Up
Egr Screw Up
When My engine light came on I was getting KS and EGR. Dealership said it was only the KS, That the EGR tested fine. Replaced the KS and the light still comes on from the EGR code. I keep reseting it but it does no good. Any ideas?

Brain Surgery anyone?
Ummm just a guess here, I may be totally wrong, completely off base but I'll give this a shot.
Something may be wrong with the EGR system!
Do yourself a favor and find another dealer to service your car. You most likely got excessive knock because the EGR valve isn't opening and your not running correctly. Thats most likely why your KS code comes up. Your dealer should not have replaced that until he fixed the EGR issue. I bet the KS code would have gone away if the EGR was fixed first.
