Home made grill help...

Can somebody give an idea on how you get the 2 lower air dams to stay put? I searced but didn't really get much for the lower air dams just the grill.I have a perfect fit but can't get them to stay. I tried some long wire to get it to stay but that didn't work and I tried folding the edges under but it didn't stay to well either, just scratched it all up. Any ideas? I have seen some clean looking home made grills and I really want to finish this project this weekend. Thanks.
And I am not a newbie, I just don't post much.

I have a '95, there are 3 places were I can put the gutter guard stuff. I am talking about the two lower air dams. And when u say wire ties are you talking about draw ties my man? If I remember right there is no place for me to put draw ties unless I get really long ones and those won't fit through.
