last night i raced a celica gts with the TRD package. we raced from about 25 the about 110. i could not believe it!!! i heard those cars supposed to be pretty quick! we were pretty much dead even the whole way but i had about 1 car lenght on him. i have an auto with intake y-pipe and catback and he was stick! maybe im wrong but has anyone else raced one before???? the best part of the story is when we stopped at the next light he says to me "who gave you the right to make that car fast and beat me, i thought i was the one who was supposed to win the race!!" what a dumb f#^$............i also raced a new 2003 tiburon, that was a joke!

 

Yeah the Celica GTS is not that fast... I have raced one 6spd in my auto back when I was bone stock and he beat me by maybe a full carlength. But of course this was on the highway. Off the line they are faster than my car hands down.
