What is the pop charger and what's it do?? Just wanted to know was up. Aight im looking to mod and i haven't bought anything yet so im just checking out the options. Let me know was up.

What intake systems are available for my Maxima?

If you have a 3rd generation Maxima, you can get either the Stillen, JWT PopCharger, or The Place Racing cold air intake. For 4th gen owners, you have a choice from all three. For the 5th gen owners, you can purchase the cold air intake as well from The Place Racing. There are also a lot of different kits out there that can fit on a Maxima. The only thing to watch out for are the foam type filters. Foam tends to break down over time. You do not want to sucking in foam. It is definately not going to help performance.

What's a cold air intake and where can I buy it?

It is an intake system where cooler air is brought in from outside of the engine bay, unlike the other systems. The filter for the CAI sits inside the driver side wheel well. Though it appears that water can be a problem, till this day no CAI owners has reported problems while using it. You can order the CAI either through Cattman Performance or through Place Racing directly.

Which intake system is better?

The CAI makes the most horsepower. The Stillen and JWT are about equal. The JWT is the cheapest with the CAI being the most expensive. With the CAI, you will have to drill a 3" diameter hole in the fender well because the filter for the system sits in the fender well to suck in cool air.

there has been debate on if the JWT intake or(SI), is better than the cold air intake. Here is a link to read about it.
