5000K 9004 bulbs?
Does anyone have any experience with these 5000K bulbs being sold on ebay? They claim to be different than the other crappy xenon bulbs being sold on ebay. 250k short of real sunlight?

Re: 5000K 9004 bulbs?
I bought those a few weeks ago and am happy with them. However, they aren't as bright as they supposedly claim to be. Well for me they aren't. I'm sure if you combined them with projector headlights they would come close to sunlight. However, i did put them in with the 1995-1996 headlights which many people complain about diminishing the light quality and brightess. Anyway, for the price they are your best buy on ebay. I would say go for it!

I got some off ebay. I like them alot. Never had any trouble melting harnesses. One side high beam went in less than a month though. Guy said he would be happy to replace with a whole new set and I could keep the one good one! I was too lazy to ship em back though....I know, its terrible.

don't bother with these cheapies
I've been through this myself and had many people nod their heads when I posted about it over a year ago.
These "knockoff" xenon bulbs are lousy. They really aren't as bright as they're stated to be. AND, worst of all, they don't last. I had my first one burn out after 3 months. The seller replaced them for free (except I had to pay return shipping), and then another burned out a year later. I scrapped 'em.
Get either PIAA Xtreme White or Sylvania Silverstars. They're both really quite nice. Brighter than stock AND they're a nice white. Any of those HID look-alikes will sure have that bluish tint, but visibility just plain sucks in all weather conditions. TRUST me. BTDT.
