Coloring Interior Lights

Anyone know a good way to color the interior lights dark blue?
Including the Dome Light, Door Lights, Glove Box, Trunk Light and Courtesy Lights.
I don't feel like buying new pre painted bulbs.

There was just a thread posted about this.

Check some recent posts and I would recommend including the word "light" in your post.

The info is here, just need to look for it...
Regards,
DL

I think you can buy a lightbulb tint spray paint at a place like home depot. A friend of mine did his lights blue...unfortunately, if you dont do it on a light that is totally white, or if you dont put enough coats on, the blue will look green/turquoise.

Re: Coloring Interior Lights

why don't you just buy the bulbs??? they are going to be costing you like 2-3 dollars each. at least that's what they cost for me.

I heard from some guy here about buying colored plastic folders from the stationary store and cutting them into squared and put it behind the dome light lense so the light will shine through the colored plastic folder.
