jwt intake filter cleaning

does any one know how to clean the jwt pop charger intake filter? is it the same as k&n filters? please advise.

Yep, same methoD. Just don't use <I>too</I> much oil. If you do, you'll need to give it more time to dry.

Dry? If you overoil, it never dries.. You have to blot the oil off or redo the whole process.. I've been there.. =)

Yes, same as K&N filters. Just make sure the filter dries completely before you oil it, since if it is wet the oil will just wick off the filter and you'll end up with a sink full of red oily mess.

Also when washing, according to the instructions you should always let water run from the inside out, never outside-in when rinsing the filter off. You don't want to push dirt deeper into the filter by rising water from the outside-in.
