Stillen FSTB?? Worth IT????
Is it worth spending over 100 and some odd dollars on the stillen FSTB when you can get the same part from a different company. Some say that you buy the best and you will notice. should i settle for the lesser value??
Please let me know???

FSTB's are all the same
You will not find any performance differences between the Stillen and other bars. The only difference is the Stillen bar looks very nice IMO. I bought the cheapest one I could find (Vibrant for $50 Canadian) and am very happy with it.
Stillen=$&Name
There is no difference. Get the economical one unless you have "extra" money to get the STILLEN one it looks better when you open the hood but then again how much will everday people see you with your hood open?
I agree... the Stillen one looks nice...
Though I have seen other types of strut bars which are slightly arched in shape... An arch shape can yield similar rigidity maybe with less material.... I think the ADDCO company makes them -- not sure of spelling of that name...
Might be something to consider... I heard that some throttle linkage cable can rub along the Stillen bar in some cars...
In my experience, the Stillen FSTB and RSTB are among the few "trouble-free" parts I have ever bought from them...
Their stock sized brake rotor replacement and Metal Matrix pads work pretty decently too... at least for me... If I had to do all my mods over again, I wouldn't consider buying anything from Stillen except for these parts...

I know they may all do the same job,
but I'd never buy any of the other brands, because to me they just look cheap, no offense to anyone else who owns the other brands. My Stillen FSTB was my first mod, and I've never regreted it. I have recieved alot of compliments from people who see it....
So if you got the cash, buy it, it's worth it, but only because of it's looks.

When I had the Z, my sponsor hooked me up with their STBs (front and rear) so that I could market the product for them. If they weren't dirt cheap, I wouldn't have gotten them because the Stillen ones had nicer brackets and a nicer bar.
