I just recently started to paint my brake calipers. They're blue in color. Anyway, I did both the front calipers, I just need to do the back. Even when I attempted to do the front driver side, one of the lug nuts was kind of rounded off. Thus, I can't the lug nut key was no use. I had to get a hex key that was a little bit bigger in size. Even then, I had to use some creative way to get that lug nut off. Now, I'm trying to do the rear calipers. Again, I have the lug nuts problem. It's the rear driver side wheel. Now there are two lug nuts that are kind of rounded off, but not as bad as the first one, so that hex key that I bought won't work. This all was a result when I brought my car to get alignment after lowering my car. The reason why some of the lug nuts were rounded off, and were hard to remove was that the shop used a impact gun. My local import store said that impact guns shouldn't be used on tuner wheels. Of course, back then I didn't notice. Just only when I want to paint my brake calipers, I found out taking the lug nuts out was much harder than I thought. I think I will have to bring back to my local import store, and see what they can do. They helped me with the first lug nut problem. Good thing I ordered a whole new set of lug nuts: McGard. However, I still need to remove those two troublesome lug nuts off first. AAARRRGHHHH!
This suppose to be a simple DIY thing. Just because of bad lug nuts, I got a big headache.
