labor estimates for spring/shock install?

Yes, I'm lazy. Thinking about doing Koni + Eibach? Maybe H&R?
About how many hours should I expect for labor?
I know there are many opinions floating around regarding which is the best combo...my goal is to improve performance significantly but without sacrificing ride quality by too much....is H&R a better choice in that regard? I hear some people say Eibachs are harsh, others say they are fine.
San Diego roads are fine as far as potholes go, but we do have a lot of drainage dips.
Thanks!
Jamie

I've done alotta research on this over the past few days. I went with H&R's and Tokicos in the end. H&R's have better ride quality definitely, but you sacrifice a little performance. I'd go with the H&R's. Good Luck...Oh, and install is around $150-$200.

I dunno, I thought installing it was kinda fun, but I'm wierd... Not really that hard, there's really not a lot you can do to seriously screw things up either as long as you have some common sense. Get a friend to help and you can do it in 2-3 hours, think of it as bonding with your car

springs and shocks
I have had H&R's and Tokicos since the spring and the combination is excellent, great ride, nice on corners, your cds don't skip and your passengers can't tell the difference. Labor for the install usually goes for around $200. On the other hand, I have noticed the bottom of my front bumper scraping when entering and exiting driveways - and these are common driveways of restaurants and parking lots - just have to be more careful when going over these things.

Want some help? FWIW
Jamie, if you choose to do it yourself and want some help, let me know. I am in San Diego and have been thinking of this mod myself. I have never done this, so don't look to me for expertise, but it seems really straight forward, and I would like to see whats involved. If you get it done, could you let me know where and how good a job they did.
Thanks,
Alan

Strut replacement
I did this by myself as I've had the spring compressor for over 10 years and it took me around 4 hours aprox. for all four. I installed KYB's & replaced the boots and mounts in the front which were shot. It's fairly straight forward but you need a vise to hold the assembly in place while you're working on it.
