Bose repair

Bose repair

Has anyone had to send in their bose headunit for repair?
I just sent mine because the display was jacked up and the tape deck and cd player all of a sudden quit working.

Ive got to pay $150

A lot of people around here are into replacing the Bose system. Personally, I like the factory look so I repaired my headunit for around what you paid. In my view it was still cheaper than a whole new system, and I'm fairly pleased with the sound. I'm sure I'd have to spend $1000 to get anything decent aftermarket. I used http://www.carstereohelp.com/ and they did a great job. Some people have complained about continued problems even after repair but I think a good repair will hold. Mine is warrantied for a year. We'll see...
