I got my self a pair of all clears and I want to paint the bottom I would like to know what the best way to do it ... will DAVID L please tell us his secret ?!?! (I tried search nothing interesting came up) plz suggestions...

Painting the bottom of clears? Y buy clears if your *** is gonna paint em?

 

Because all clears look totally ridiculous next to your red/clear inner taillights?

Not to mention red lights through clear lenses = pink color

 

because clear/reds for the 95/96 are not manufactured by anbody!! its the only way to have clear/red.

and if i'm not mistaken, i think the best way to do it would be to open up the lens and paint the inside with a couple coats...that's possible on the 95/96 right?...because if you paint the outside, there is the possibility of the paint getting scratched...but opening it up might be a *****

 

If DavidL put out a how2, then he would get no more business...

 

David L is not the only person who can do them right. I have seen others tails done just as good as his. I think you need "Candy apple red" flourescent paint.. also need to do a few coats.. but again, I have not done them personally.. just what i heard. Search around, maybe you'll find some answers

 

He uses VANS red tail paint from www.lightningmotorsports.com for $30 a can
