Stupid Quesion-Air Pressure?

Just curious what the recdomended air pressure for the summer is for 98 maxima with 215/55/16 are? I think this is the same size tire that came stock?

the max pressure on the tire says 44lbs- but the guy at Jiffy Lube said 30/33? can that be right?

Look at the sticker inside the top portion of the center armrest and junk holder. (between the drivers and passagers seat up front) The sticker will tell you reccommended cold tire pressures for all wheels. Remember once you are driving the air inside your tire will heat up and expand, so you don't want to be running too high a pressure. Also check your manual for the pressures. And do a search

I don't use the factory pressures. I like to have a 6 PSI difference front to rear. Usually I run my fronts at 40 PSI and the rear at 34 PSI.

This makes the car steerable with the throttle in the corners.
