Can someone with a '99 FSM check a code for me?
First can someone please look up ECU Code 1405 in the 1999 FSM? None of the codes starting with 14 are in ANY ECU decoder anywhere.
I recently noticed a ground strap was broken while working with my exhaust so I replaced it.
ECU Code 1405 and O2 sensor ground
I checked the ECU and pulled the 1405 error code. I never would have known I had a code because the CEL wasn't triggered. Tonight I am going to go measure the resistance of my oxygen and knock sensor to make sure they aren't the cause, but I don't know what else could be wrong. I'm glad we can check error codes, but I don't see the point in throwing codes if the CEL doesn't come on
