Can I put 2000 SE wheels/tires on a 96?

I want to know if the offset is correct.
Also, what is the tire diameter (outer) for the stock P225/50 R17 tires?

I have a 96 SE with 15" wheels.
I believe they are 205/60 R15.

The dealer told me that the 5th gen optional SE rims will not fit on the 4th gen.

I put the 16" rims off of a 2000 Maxima SE on my 96 GLE. Not too sure about offset. I do have a slight vibration in steering wheel abouve 60mph.

That's probably caused by an improperly balanced tire(s).

How much did you have to pay for them?
Where did you get 'em?
I tried to buy some from ebay...and the son of a bit#$ has not replied. I was going to get 4 wheels with factory tires for $735.
